What exactly do I get when I buy a Zap? 
Your Zap purchase includes the hardware device, access to real-time energy monitoring through the Sourceful app, 30 days of historical data, and baseline rewards for participating in our energy network. The device also provides local API access for integration with home automation systems.

Are there any subscription fees? 
No subscription is required for real-time monitoring functionality and 30-day history are included with your hardware purchase. As we develop energy optimisation features, these will be offered as optional upgrades. Many premium features may also be sponsored by partner utilities, making them available at no cost to users in participating regions.

Can I use Zap without the Sourceful app?
Yes! Zap supports local access through our open API. A community-maintained Home Assistant integration is already available. However, you'll miss out on rewards and cloud-based features.

Is my energy data private?
Absolutely. You control your data. While anonymized, aggregated data helps improve grid efficiency, your personal consumption details are never shared without your explicit permission.

What's the warranty?
Zap comes with a 1-year warranty covering manufacturing defects and normal use failures.
